THE SERIOUS STUFF

Your cake will:

Be on a cake board to match the cake.

Be packaged in a suitable box.

Come with a complimentary candle (for birthday cakes).

Deposits and Payments:

I recommend booking your cake 1-2 months in advance.

Unfortunately, in the cake world, sometimes I experience a no-show. Therefore a non-refundable 50% deposit on all orders is required. Once the deposit is made, your order is secure and you can celebrate with a bottle of champagne! The balance is due 7 days prior to delivery or at the time of collection of your cake.

Can I send you an image and you replicate it?

I truly respect other cake designer's work therefore I do not copy cakes, however, you may send me a photo to use as inspiration!

What size cake do I need?

The size of your cake will be determined by the number of guests you wish to serve, and what size portions you intend on serving. If you are already having dessert as part of your menu, finger/coffee size portions will be sufficient.

Cake Size Finger Dessert
5 inch 10 6
6 inch 18 10
7 inch 30 15
8 inch 40 20
9 inch 50 25

5" + 7" 40 20
6" + 8" 58 30
7" + 9" 70 40

5" + 7" + 9" 90 45
6" + 8" + 10" 110 60

Please note: the number of portions given above, is only intended as a guide and based on the following dimensions:

Finger Size: 1 inch x 1 inch x 4 inches
Dessert Size: 1 inch x 2 inches x 4 inches

Actual quantities may vary, depending on the person cutting up your cake

Are cake stands available?

Yes! I do hire them out, however, they incur a security bond which is refunded once the stand has been returned to me.

Transportation

I suggest for most cakes to go flat on the floor or boot space of the car (with the air con cranking!)...sounds scary. But take my word for it! The cake will move with the car and will be boxed neatly to help support the cake during its travel. Any special requirements for travel will be given at time of collection.

Let me know what time you will be picking up your cake, and who to expect.

Please note that once your cake has left Breezy's Cakes, I cannot take any responsibility for damage in relation to how it has been transported. Delivery by Breezy's Cakes can be organised on request, but may come at an additional cost.

I have a question that was not answered here. What is the best way to contact you?

No worries! You can either fill out the form under my 'contact' page or email me at bree@breezyscakes.com.au

Please keep in mind that I am not a huge cake company with a P.A. (oh I wish ... it's just little old me!) so when I am busy baking I may take a couple of days to get back to you.
